Wal-Mart Amazon price war

Wal-Mart Amazon price war

Wal-Mart Amazon price war

Apparently there is an Wal-Mart Amazon price war, I’m a big fan of online shopping and if Amazon in Canada is as competitive as the US and UK Amazon  then I will be doing a lot more shopping there. Unfortunately they are a bit slow off the mark but there are some bargains to be had and I like the free delivery after spending $39. Only problem is that you have to shop early to get your goods in time.

Wal-mart prices are so cheap and if you willing to line up and shop in a crazy atmosphere, parking miles away then its definitely an option for Christmas Shopping. Personally I can’t bring myself to do it, I would rather pay more to not have that traumatic experience BUT i will consider shopping in Walmart closer to the midnight hours to get round all that.

Dent and Scratch Places

There are a few of these around, google it for your area, some advertise on craigslist.com they can be really good deals for just a scratch on the side where you cant even see it when installed. I worry about the warranty and service and also hard to getting matching appliances this way but its worth looking into.

Free calls with Skype

Save money with Skype

For those of you that don’t already know, you can make FREE Video calls from computer to computer all you need is a headset (sometimes not necessary), a webcam and the Skype software.

You can also make cheap calls to landlines and mobiles with a pay as you go or monthly billing.

There are lots of other options for mobiles too.

Tip: You can get the iPhone app in Canada on your iPhone or iTouch  if you register a US or UK address (probably anywhere but Canada)

I use this service a lot to keep in touch with friends and family abroad, it seems to be more reliable these days and with computers coming with webcams installed its easier to get it up and running.

Check out the Skype website for more information
