What does the ‘USA version of MOO’ mean?
Good question. This is a way that anyone in USA, Canada, Mexico, South America, Hong Kong and China can place an order with MOO and have it printed and shipped from Rhode Island, in the United States.
Why would you want to do that?
There’s three very quick answers for this:
• Faster shipping!
• Lower shipping costs!
• Trackable shipping!
And if you have time, a slightly longer answer: While we’ll always have a heart and home in London, we realised that printing in the USA brings huge benefits to many of our customers. Folks in the USA and neighbouring countries will now get much quicker shipping:
• 5 business days: Standard shipping across the USA
• 1-2 business days: Express shipping
• Fully trackable shipping on all orders (except First Class International)
We’re really excited about these changes. They’re on the list of most requested things, and to be able to get cards to people the other side of the world so speedily, is just awesome.
So, how does it work if you’re in in USA/Canada/Mexico/South America/Hong Kong/China?
It’s simple – you just head over to moo.com, as you always did, and Little MOO will work behind the scenes, to display the USA version of the site automatically.
You place your order as normal, and your cards will be printed and shipped from the USA, to get to you super-fast.
If you’d like to double check you’re on the USA version of MOO, look to the top right of the page. It confirms which store you’re in, and gives you the chance to switch.
Is that it? It sounds easy – what aren’t you telling us?
Well, we hope it IS that easy. We’ve been working really hard to get it all top notch and up to speed.
There’s one thing we’re still working on, and that’s the USA production & shipping of StickerBooks, NoteCards and Mosaic Frames. Right now they’re only available from the European store. If you’d like one of these items, switch to the European store at the top right of the page.
Are there any changes to the European version of the site?
There are – we’ve upgraded the European shipping too, so multiple items in an order will now ship together. That’s built in to the USA site from launch though, so whichever site you use, you’ll see a benefit.
