Generally duvet covers in Canada are really dull, they seem to like this clean hotel style and I find it almost impossible to get a good deal on anything that looks remotely interesting. For some reason they seem to favour the sheet set and focus on making them look pretty…er .. but you can’t see the sheet under the duvet cover…it really doesn’t make sense to me.
After searching through many malls, I finally came across a beautiful duvet cover I liked in Winners Homesense in Metrotown for $70 it was a bargain as the usual price was $130 and it was good quality but a rare find. Looking through other shops like Quilts etc, Home Outfitters I was shocked to find prices from $120 (approx. £53) upwards, why is it so expensive compares the UK!? If only there were the same size I would bring some back on my next trip.
Check out the difference in prices for fun and pretty looking duvet covets that you can order from Amazon.co.uk
At the moment I am settling for Ikea & Homesense to get my bedding but if anyone has any ideas I would love to know!
